EIS Financials system to be upgraded in March

UNT will install an upgrade to its EIS Financials system in March. The new software, version 9.0, is scheduled to be in use March 17.

The upgrade provides enhanced workflow to the e-Pro system. To facilitate the upgrade and keep requisitions on track, Purchasing and Payment Services must have all current requisitions processed through to purchase orders in EIS before the transition to the new system begins. Here is a timeline:

  • February - Plan for needed requisitions during the first two weeks of March.
  • March 2 - Begin review of department requisitions to ensure approval by DeptID/ProjID holders and other required approvers.
  • March 6 - Requisitions requiring additional approvals (Research Services, Branding,
    Memberships, Biosafety/Radioactive) should be submitted by 5 p.m.
  • March 10 - Departments must have needed requisitions created and approved through e-Pro by 5 p.m. Outstanding requisitions will be denied and will require submission in the new, version 9.0, EIS system.
  • March 11-16 - e-Pro access through EIS will be unavailable.
  • March 17 - New EIS Financials system is scheduled to be available for use.
