EIS Mail Groups

I am authorized to send emails using the EIS Project group managed by Cathy Gonzalez but the group is missing or not working. How do I get this fixed?

The EIS Project group and its corresponding distribution lists (i.e. EIS_Project_grp, EIS Campus Community, etc.) can only be seen in the Outlook address list under “All Groups.” If you need assistance with sending to any of these distribution lists, send an email to EIStrn@ad.unt.edu.

I am not receiving messages related to EIS system outages or maintenance topics sent out by CITC technical staff that other people in my office are getting. How do I get added to the list?

Messages relating to EIS system outages or maintenance topics are generally sent out using EIS mail groups. The most popular mail group used is EIS_Project_grp as it a compilation of all the other groups associated with EIS. To be added to the group, contact your Module lead (see http://eis.unt.edu/contacts) and request they send an email to the EISTCA team indicating you should be added to the group. If you believe you are already a member of the group but are not receiving messages, send an email to the EISTCA team and include information about the message(s) you did not receive. Information that is helpful is the name of the person who sent the message, subject, and date/time of the message.
